Meeting and Event Supervisor

As an integral part of the Loews Hotels team, the Event Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless event execution and client satisfaction.
Our resort offers a serene environment where guests can unwind and experience the beauty of the surrounding landscapes.
Key Responsibilities- Review and verify convention files received from the Sales Department for completeness and accuracy.
- Initiate communication with clients upon receipt of files, followed by a follow-up call within a week.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients to foster strong relationships and address their needs.
- Collaborate with the Director of Conference Management and Catering on menu planning and development as required.
- Prepare detailed Banquet Event Orders and other necessary documentation to inform hotel departments about event requirements, including setup, purchasing, and scheduling.
- Distribute Banquet Event Orders to clients for their approval and feedback.
- Ensure timely receipt of rooming lists and monitor reservation entries and group pickups.
- Compile group resumes that detail reservations, billing, and Banquet Event Order information.
- Analyze guest preferences, hotel demographics, and industry trends to recommend service enhancements and operational adjustments to optimize guest and employee satisfaction while ensuring financial success.
- Facilitate the distribution of Banquet Event Orders and group resumes to relevant hotel departments for effective planning and resource allocation.
- Achieve monthly and annual booking targets as outlined in the budgeting process.
- Send appreciation letters and feedback forms to assigned groups to enhance future interactions.
- Participate in special projects as directed by the Director of Conference Management and Catering.
Meeting Participation
- Attend relevant hotel meetings, including departmental, staff, food and beverage, sales, and Banquet Event Order discussions.
- Collaborate with various hotel departments, employees, and external vendors to strengthen partnerships and ensure cohesive operations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall success of the hotel operations.
