We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Event Manager to join our team at Loews Hotels. As a key member of our Meetings & Events department, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing large-scale events, conferences, and meetings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze event files, contracts, and addenda to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, promoting a culture of excellence and professionalism.
  • Lead client communication, facilitating introductions to operational and vendor partners, and maintaining consistent, professional relationships.
  • Develop and implement event plans, including Banquet Event Orders and group resumes, to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with hotel departments, including group reservation, credit, and billing, to ensure accurate and timely information exchange.
  • Prepare and distribute detailed event reports, forecasts, and analyses to inform business decisions and drive revenue growth.
  • Attend and participate in hotel meetings, presenting event plans and updates as required.
Requirements
  • Minimum three years of progressive Meeting and Event Management experience in a full-service hotel environment, with a proven track record of success.
  • Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) designation is preferred.
  • Knowledge of hotel operational departments and industry-standard software, including Delphi and SocialTables.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required.
