The Events and Hospitality Specialist will play a crucial role in implementing Su Vida's integrated healthcare model to enhance the provider-patient relationship and engagement by improving the quality of care through a hospitality-focused patient experience framework. This position is responsible for developing, coordinating, and executing onsite and external community events for current and prospective patients and their families.
This individual will also build relationships and collaborate with key local community organizations and stakeholders that impact underserved, Medicare-eligible Hispanic seniors.
Key Responsibilities
The Events and Hospitality Specialist will be instrumental in enhancing the patient experience and engagement through hospitality-driven events and programming at Su Vida. This role includes managing and coordinating onsite events that align with the principles of lifestyle medicine and overseeing the community room, calendar, and data tracking. Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of various onsite events that promote the principles of lifestyle medicine, such as healthy eating, physical activity, stress management, social connectedness, and sleep improvement.
- Helping to develop and implement a hospitality-focused patient experience framework for events and programs, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
- Collaborating with the clinical team to integrate and oversee educational materials and content related to lifestyle medicine into the development of onsite programming.
- Managing the community room, including scheduling events, coordinating logistics, and ensuring a seamless experience for participants.
- Maintaining the events calendar, tracking attendance, managing budgets, and collecting feedback to assess the effectiveness of events.
- Establishing and nurturing relationships with patients to foster a sense of community and engagement.
- Collaborating with external vendors and partners to enhance the quality and variety of events.
- Assisting in the creation of innovative campaigns and marketing materials to promote lifestyle medicine events and classes.
- Providing regular reports on event activities and outcomes to the Center Director and stakeholders.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- 3+ years of relevant experience (e.g., high-level hospitality, event planning, community engagement/development, and marketing).
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) required.
- Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build relationships in the community.
- Experience in graphic design for conceptualizing, planning, and executing creative campaigns.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in hospitality, nutrition, healthcare, or a related field.
