Lead Engineer for Aerospace Systems

We are seeking Lead Engineers with 3-5 years of experience to conduct durability assessments of cutting-edge hardware utilizing the latest materials and manufacturing techniques in the aerospace sector. Position Responsibilities
Key Duties
- Perform thorough analysis or evaluation of assigned projects using established engineering principles.
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of finite element analysis (FEA) as it pertains to mechanical stress evaluation.
- Contribute to the engineering design of advanced aerospace systems from conception to operational deployment.
- Utilize prior experience and on-the-job training to address engineering challenges.
- Effectively communicate findings to colleagues, management, and clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
- 3-5 years of experience in mechanical stress analysis using finite element software.
- Onsite work is required; remote work is not an option for this role.
- This position is limited to U.S. persons due to access to export-controlled technology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to analyze and resolve technical issues.
- Capability to document, plan, market, and implement projects.
- Strong project management skills.
Compensation Level
LPB2
This role necessitates access to U.S. export-controlled information. Final offers may depend on the ability to secure authorization for access to such information from the U.S. Government.
