The GE Renewable Energy Engineering Team is seeking experienced design engineers to contribute to the development of cutting-edge engine technologies. Our focus is on creating engines that are not only efficient but also sustainable, utilizing advanced materials and innovative design methodologies.

The Lead Thermal Systems Engineer will join our dynamic Engineering Design Team. This role involves refining technical expertise and leadership capabilities while engaging in turbomachinery design and enhancement projects that ultimately ensure the safety and efficiency of our aviation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Duties
  • Collaborate with senior engineering professionals to analyze, design, test, or integrate engine components, assemblies, or systems that align with business standards and product requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge in turbomachinery, leveraging previous experience and technical expertise to adhere to engineering protocols.
  • Utilize interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with colleagues and provide guidance to new team members.
  • Document and communicate the results of technical analyses effectively.
  • Prepare and present technical information to support both internal and external stakeholders; participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical evaluations.
  • Facilitate open communication regarding significant issues or developments within the engineering team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an engineering design role.

  • Proven experience in component design.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with a strong interest in the aerospace sector and our innovative products.
  • Familiarity with design, testing, and analysis tools.
