Job Summary

Cambria Riverview - Charleston is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless experience for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Assist guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally at all times, maintaining a high level of service and hospitality.
  • Communication: Promptly and effectively deal with guest concerns or issues, ensuring all are met to satisfaction in a timely manner.
  • Administrative Tasks: Post guest charges, collect payments, and follow all cash handling procedures.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Be knowledgeable of the hotel brand and various programs, including travel programs and special offers.
  • Team Collaboration: Respond quickly to incoming calls, lobby visitors, and team members needing front desk assistance, and communicate effectively with various departments and management on guest comments and concerns.
  • Hotel Operations: Have full knowledge of hotel safety and emergency procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience in customer service, forward-facing, or other guest-related positions.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar computer applications.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the hospitality industry as a front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or other guest services preferred.
  • Language Skills: Must speak English fluently and have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Problem-solving, reasoning, and ability to multi-task and interact with people under pressure.
