Position Summary
As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be crucial in transforming the care landscape for individuals with Bardet-Biedl syndrome (BBS) by delivering targeted disease education to a specific physician audience. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance understanding of clinical diagnoses, supporting the launch of IMCIVREE for BBS and other relevant indications.

This role will report to the West Field Sales Director and encompass territories including TX, OK, and AR.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate strategic business plans that align with brand objectives and organizational goals.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key opinion leaders and target specialists within the designated area, ensuring the delivery of clinically relevant information.
  • Work in partnership with field-based stakeholders to proactively address client needs, identify market trends, and relay insights to marketing teams.
  • Collaborate with marketing departments to create promotional materials that meet customer requirements and support team initiatives.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance skills and optimize performance to achieve annual targets.
  • Organize and execute local promotional events and speaker programs.
  • Participate in and lead initiatives that foster sales success, including industry congresses, regional meetings, and medical conferences.
  • Ensure precise data capture and reporting within the CRM system.
  • Optimize the budget allocated to the territory to effectively implement strategies and achieve business objectives.
  • Complete all corporate and administrative tasks efficiently, including compliance training and expense reporting, adhering to established deadlines.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in specialty pharmaceutical or biotech sales.
  • Experience in rare diseases is highly desirable, particularly in endocrinology and pediatrics; prior launch experience is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated success in complex markets with diverse customer segments.
  • Strong command of scientific data with the ability to communicate effectively to various audiences.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on active listening and productive customer engagement.
  • Self-driven and energetic, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively and take ownership to achieve shared goals.
  • Strong analytical skills with a solution-oriented approach.
  • Excellent organizational and operational capabilities, with a keen attention to detail and sound business judgment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% as required.


This position is field-based, and candidates must be prepared for frequent travel.
