Position Summary:

The Senior Commercial Sales Executive is responsible for generating new business sales revenue from software licenses within mid-sized enterprises in the Dallas Metro area, specifically targeting organizations with 1,000 to 5,000 employees. This role involves strategic territory planning, in-depth research of potential clients, and executing field-based sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the designated territory, including a targeted prospect list and regional sales plan.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to develop and execute marketing initiatives aimed at driving growth.
  • Identify and qualify potential clients, creating new sales opportunities and sustainable revenue streams.
  • Conduct initial product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Manage ongoing client relationships to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional revenue.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and guiding them on how ServiceNow can enhance their IT strategies.
Qualifications:

To excel in this position, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Commercial Account Executive role or similar within the IT sector.
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience working within a matrixed support organization, leveraging multiple virtual specialists.
  • Strong executive-level relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in maintaining transparency throughout the sales process with excellent CRM practices.
  • Willingness to travel 20-40%, with some instances requiring up to 50% travel.
  • Residence within the DFW Metro area is required.
