We are currently in search of a Senior Manufacturing Cost Accountant for our operations.

In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in the financial oversight of our organization, focusing on the enhancement and management of cost-related functions.

Your key responsibilities will encompass conducting bill of material assessments, overseeing inventory management, analyzing financial metrics, preparing budget documentation, and delivering strategic insights to aid in informed decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have a robust background in cost accounting within a manufacturing context, financial analysis capabilities, and a comprehensive understanding of operational processes.


Key Responsibilities:
Perform detailed cost evaluations across various business dimensions, including production expenses, overhead costs, and inventory assessments.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and propose strategies for financial efficiency.
Collaborate with diverse teams to formulate and track annual budgets.
Assist in the development of financial forecasts and variance analyses to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
Oversee inventory valuation and management, ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
Implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize carrying costs.
Work closely with operations, supply chain, and other relevant departments to gather data for precise cost evaluations.
Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by performing account reconciliations and preparing necessary journal entries.
Monitor financial trends and key performance indicators to uncover potential opportunities.

Qualifications:

You are a strong candidate if you possess: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or CMA certification is advantageous.

Demonstrated experience as a Cost Accountant with a minimum of 5-7 years in a manufacturing environment.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
Strategic mindset with the capacity to provide valuable insights for decision-making.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical skills, proficient in financial modeling and data analysis.

Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as Power BI. Proficient in Excel (Intermediate to Advanced level required). Self-driven with the ability to work independently.
