Position Summary: We are currently seeking a proficient Application Engineer to become a vital part of our innovative engineering team. This role is essential for the design and development of high-quality transformer solutions that align with customer requirements and industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess a robust technical foundation in electrical engineering, along with experience in power systems, and a strong commitment to delivering reliable and innovative products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Costing and Customer Proposals:
    • Evaluate customer specifications to design transformers that comply with their unique needs and regulatory standards.
    • Collaborate with design engineers and project managers to create practical and cost-effective engineering solutions.
    • Prepare customer product costing using in-house tools.
    • Manage time effectively for various activities related to the quotation process.
    • Coordinate efforts between the design and manufacturing departments to address customer requirements.
  • Customer and Project Management:
    • Act as the technical liaison between the company and clients, ensuring clear communication of specifications and expectations.
    • Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and documentation, ensuring compliance with both internal and external standards.
    • Share the quotation package with the project management office upon order confirmation and complete system entry for the order.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in electrical power systems, particularly in transformer design and application.
  • Strong knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards related to electrical and power engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues clearly.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with meticulous attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Basic understanding of electrical concepts.
  • Experience in the transformer manufacturing sector or a similar field.
