Senior Financial Analyst

We are currently seeking a Senior Manufacturing Cost Accountant to play a crucial role in the financial management of the organization by overseeing and optimizing cost-related processes.
Key Responsibilities- Cost Analysis: Conduct thorough cost analysis on various aspects of the business, including production costs, overhead expenses, and inventory valuation.
- Cost Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies for cost optimization.
- Budget Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and monitor annual budgets.
- Financial Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and variance analysis to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the valuation and control of inventory, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
- Inventory Optimization: Implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce carrying costs.
- Data Analysis: Work closely with operations, supply chain, and other relevant departments to gather data and insights for accurate cost analysis.
- Financial Reporting: Support the month end and year end close process by performing account reconciliations and preparing journal entries.
- Financial Trend Analysis: Monitor financial trends and key performance indicators to identify opportunities.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Cost Accountant with at least 5-7 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Strategic thinker with the ability to provide valuable insights for decision-making. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis. Familiarity with accounting and ERP systems and Power BI. Proficient in Excel (Intermediate to Advanced User required). Self-motivated; work with limited supervision.
