Position Overview:

The Lead Financial Analyst will report directly to the Finance Director and will be tasked with delivering analytical insights related to personnel and operational expenditures, with a particular emphasis on workforce metrics. Key responsibilities include analyzing financial performance and workforce data, contributing to the financial close and forecasting processes, and driving process enhancements.

  • Collaborate with departmental teams on expense-related matters, focusing on personnel costs and workforce details within the technology and Managed Services divisions.
  • Assist in the development of annual and multi-year strategic financial plans.
  • Analyze transactions and expenditure data to provide actionable insights, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and profit enhancement through data analysis and automation.
  • Review ledger entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards and practices.
  • Work with business units to conduct comprehensive financial analyses, identifying key drivers, trends, variances, and potential risks and opportunities; regularly communicate findings to senior management through clear and impactful reporting.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to support operational and financial management initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with General Ledger software.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in financial modeling and financial planning and analysis using Excel.
  • Prior experience in the software development or financial services sectors is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Dynamics is a plus.

The ideal candidate will possess strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the capacity to produce timely reports.
  • Proficient in examining and verifying financial documents and reports, with a strong ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
  • Skilled in transforming raw data into meaningful and impactful insights.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Capable of preparing business cases to support the growth of a technology-focused organization.
