Regional Sales Manager

The Regional Sales Manager plays a crucial role in leading the offices, ensuring the needs of sales associates, staff, and EVPs are met. This position requires a personable, team-oriented, and professional disposition.
The Regional Sales Manager works closely with EVPs to retain and train existing agents, increasing SIR agent production and revenue. They also lead the onboarding of independent agents new to the offices and the brand.
This role involves being the first line of communication for the administrative staff, ensuring daily office operations run smoothly. The Regional Sales Manager should have a keen understanding of the New York real estate market and be comfortable reviewing and negotiating listing agreements with clients and their attorneys.
Duties- Review, redline, and negotiate exclusive agreements with clients and/or their attorneys.
- Manage two or more direct reports, handling administrative responsibilities in the offices.
- Meet with agents frequently to answer questions and problem-solve related to deals, clients, properties, etc.
- Organize and create engaging sales meetings agendas to motivate, inspire, and train independent sales agents on new initiatives and market information.
- Implement agent meetings/education seminars that are current and relevant for agents and staff, maintaining a monthly training calendar.
- Engage with local Sotheby's International Realty affiliates to organize networking events.
- Collaborate with EVPs regarding creative problem-solving strategies in the competitive marketplace regarding recruitment and retention of both active agents and referral agents, evolving staff job descriptions, and office design.
- Develop strategies to motivate independent sales agents to grow their Gross Commission Income and achieve sales goals.
- A bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited college is strongly preferred.
- 5-8 years of experience as either a real estate attorney, paralegal, or licensed real estate salesperson is required.
- Proficient in the Microsoft suite of products.
