Safran Federal Systems is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a critical member of our organization, you will be responsible for executing business functions and driving sales growth in the Navigation Warfare and Electronic Warfare sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities involving Navigation Warfare and related technologies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, defense contractors, and industry partners.
- Monitor and assess Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Information (RFIs) relevant to SFS capabilities.
- Engage with customers to understand future partnership opportunities associated with NAVWAR and Electronic Warfare.
- Assist Product Management team in identifying capabilities for integration into future product roadmaps.
- Coordinate with internal technical teams to ensure that proposals meet customer requirements.
- Research and communicate industry trends to identify potential sales opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering, or equivalent military/industry experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a Business Development role or related function.
- US Defense industry experience preferred.
- Experience working with Electronic Warfare, GNSS, and/or Position, Navigation, Timing technologies preferred.
- Active US Government security clearance preferred, or ability to obtain a US Government issued security clearance.
- Experience with US Government solicitation process.
- Familiarity working with US Government compliance and export regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
