Job Title: Account Executive

Marcus Evans, a global business intelligence and event marketing company, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing new accounts and managing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate new leads and create a book of business through prospecting and outreach efforts.
  • Qualify and engage prospects through email, LinkedIn, and cold calling.
  • Negotiate and close contracts with C-level decision makers by understanding their growth goals and converting that intelligence into business opportunities.
  • Manage an organized record of sales activity and pipeline.
  • Nurture new and existing client relationships.
  • Travel to destination cities nationwide to tend to clients.
  • Represent the company and our clients in the delivery of our exceptional products and services.
Qualifications:
  • Sales experience: 5 years of proven B2B or B2C sales experience, preferably with a high-priced product.
  • Prospecting and outreach experience: Experience cold calling C-level executives and creating strategic marketing email campaigns.
  • Exceptional listening and questioning skills: Successful candidates understand EQ and tactical empathy.
  • Strong hunter mentality through disciplined KPIs and farmer ability to nurture and develop relationships.
  • Pipeline management: Research and organizational skills.
  • Leadership: We promote 100% from within and actively develop top performers into management.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Account Executives earn 8%-10% commission on sales, with average deals ranging from $35k-$90k for entry relationships and $150k-$250k on repeat relationships.
  • After a 3-month training program: $74,000 minimum earnings with $90,000-$120,000 OTE for your first year.
