As a Technical Solutions Integrator at Convergence Networks, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of diverse projects assigned to you. Your responsibilities will encompass engaging with various technological environments and systems throughout the project lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with our Support Services and Business Services teams to maintain transparency and communication regarding all project activities. Your primary objective will be to deliver technical project work punctually while enhancing customer satisfaction. Regular participation in project kick-off meetings and after-action reviews will be essential, as you represent Convergence Professional Services with professionalism and empathy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure the timely execution of all assigned project tasks, both explicit and implicit.
  • Install and configure Windows Servers, peripherals, network devices, and storage solutions in alignment with internal standards and project specifications.
  • Develop, document, and uphold installation and configuration protocols.
  • Maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding project status and any planned changes or outages.
  • Mentor fellow technical staff to foster professional growth and disseminate knowledge of client infrastructures across the organization.
  • Provide technical design insights to our vCIO team to ensure accurate project scope and adherence to IT best practices.
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Proficient experience with Windows and Mac OS desktop operating systems.
  • Expertise in deploying and managing Windows servers, including troubleshooting and supporting Exchange Server and Office 365.
  • Understanding of mail flow troubleshooting.
  • Experience with VPN implementation, troubleshooting, and resolution.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and Group Policies.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite, including Office 365, SharePoint, and Azure.
  • Experience with backup and recovery solutions.
  • Understanding of firewalls, networking, and wireless configurations.
  • Ability to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in one or more of our service catalog offerings.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and customer service orientation.
  • Extensive IT background with a focus on network support and implementation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong documentation abilities.
  • Capability to manage high-stress situations and resolve technical issues effectively.
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a strong sense of ownership over work.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and planning skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in roles such as Network Administrator, Systems Administrator, or similar.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with IT hardware and software components.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Operating Systems, Office 365 management, and various networking technologies.
  • Experience executing medium to large-scale IT projects.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Preferred: Associate's degree or higher in Information Technology.
  • Familiarity with managed services provider business models.
  • Experience with MSP tools and software.
  • Professional IT certifications such as MTA, MCSA, or MCSE are a plus.

  • This role involves standing, walking, sitting, using hands, seeing, reaching, talking, and hearing. Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds may be required.
