Job Overview:
The Technical Sales Specialist will serve as the primary technical resource for the sales team, focusing on power electronics solutions. This role involves providing comprehensive technical support for both new and ongoing projects, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving revenue growth across established and emerging accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the technical lead and first point of contact for all customer inquiries and support.
- Build and sustain robust relationships with key accounts to foster business growth.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations and design solutions tailored to meet customer specifications.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation outlining product features and advantages.
- Gather and analyze commercial data, including application details, program specifics, and partner locations.
- Manage customer forecasts and prepare regular sales reports and territory updates.
- Execute project engineering tasks, including experimental design and basic circuit layouts.
- Provide pre-sales support to assure customers of product compatibility with their applications.
- Offer post-sales assistance to facilitate product integration and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Willingness to travel extensively to key customer locations (approximately 80%).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in power electronics, specifically in power conversion technologies.
- Experience in application and design of end products utilizing control ICs and power semiconductors.
- Proficient in the use of various electronic testing and EMC equipment.
- Exceptional presentation skills are essential.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members across various functions.
- Strong organizational skills and self-motivation are critical for managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Preference for candidates residing in the Pacific Northwest region.
Compensation:
Contract position with a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $120,000 per year, along with comprehensive benefits including:
