We are on the lookout for a Cybersecurity-focused Senior Solutions Engineer to enhance our team. Our engineers are pivotal to the success of both our clients and our organization. The Senior Solutions Engineer collaborates with an outstanding team of Engineers and Architects, serving as trusted advisors to our clients. This position encompasses both pre-sales and post-sales consultation, design, and implementation support.

Our Senior Solutions Engineers come from diverse backgrounds, typically combining engineering expertise with technical proficiency across multiple technologies. They excel in developing a comprehensive understanding of our clients' needs. This role also involves mentoring junior engineers and assisting in the creation of bills of materials, statements of work, and technical proposal components. The responsibilities include:
  • Effectively conveying technical information to clients, including both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Collaborating with Solutions Architects to formulate and assess system designs.
  • Partnering with clients on solution designs and implementations.
  • Maintaining expert-level certifications in relevant technical domains.
  • Engaging with Solutions Engineers on key strategic accounts.
  • Providing pre-sales designs and mentoring during post-sales implementations alongside engineering colleagues.
  • Establishing deployment standards for CompuNet's varied clientele and sectors, ensuring these standards are reflected in Statements of Work (SOW). Collaborating with fellow Senior Solutions Engineers and local Solutions Architects to enhance and uphold deployment standards within CompuNet.
  • Assisting Engineering Directors and Managers in identifying professional service opportunities and in recruitment efforts.
  • Working alongside Engineering Directors and Managers to validate project scopes.
  • Supporting the development of bills of materials, statements of work, and technical proposal components.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Your experience encompasses a blend of advanced on-premises, hybrid, and cloud technologies, along with IT operations and strategic business insight.

Successful candidates will have prior experience in delivering consulting services, managing client expectations, and a broad understanding of many of the following concepts, with advanced to expert proficiency in at least one:
  • Security Frameworks (CIS, NIST, etc.)

Our ideal candidate will also possess the following skills, experience, or education:
  • Expertise in designing, deploying, and delivering enterprise security solutions.
  • Highly proficient in technical project management and documentation delivery.
  • A collaborative team player capable of mentoring and onboarding new engineers.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred expert-level certifications.
  • Preferred bachelor's degree and/or relevant industry certifications.

    • The estimated base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $175,000 per year. Actual salary will depend on various factors, including location and job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, experience, training, certifications, education, or performance. This position is eligible for variable compensation, such as commission, bonuses, and profit sharing, in addition to the base salary.
