JOB SUMMARY:

The Director of Strategy and Innovation will oversee the strategic planning, systems, processes, and growth of our gastrointestinal practice and surgical center. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing a thorough operational and expansion strategy for DLDC, focusing on both core service delivery and additional revenue streams. The director will provide leadership and guidance for patient care systems, taking direct responsibility for care delivery, facility management, physician recruitment, and operational performance. Key responsibilities include managing daily operations with a focus on patient care, enhancing physician satisfaction, delivering high-quality customer service, and implementing effective marketing strategies, including digital outreach.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

OPERATIONS

· Directs and supervises all practice staff to ensure efficient daily operations, emphasizing patient care and effective management.

· Clearly defines and delegates responsibilities to the practice manager.

· Maintains a high standard of customer service, promptly addressing and resolving any complaints.

· Develops and implements a comprehensive marketing strategy to enhance patient acquisition and retention.

· Fosters collaborative relationships with provider staff to improve satisfaction and retention.

· Reviews current information systems and recommends new tools to support high-quality medical care.

· Evaluates satisfaction indicators among patients, employees, and physicians, developing action plans for continuous improvement.

· Cultivates effective relationships with medical staff to ensure quality outcomes and problem resolution.

· Serves as a resource for patient care operations and regulatory compliance.

· Ensures a safe and professional work environment, adhering to all safety standards.

· Develops and administers training programs for staff as necessary.

FINANCIAL

· Establishes and manages operating budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility.

· Analyzes staffing levels and makes recommendations for optimization.

· Reviews capital expenditures and provides recommendations.

· Conducts return on investment analyses for strategic initiatives.

LEADERSHIP

· Actively participates in management team discussions and planning.

· Identifies expansion needs and opportunities for facility improvements.

· Develops and leads growth strategies for the practice.

· Collaborates with various disciplines to ensure alignment with strategic goals.

· Mentors managerial staff and develops training programs for career advancement.

· Strong expertise in billing and operations, particularly in outpatient care.

· Experience in budget management and strategic planning is essential.
