Position Overview

We seek a detail-oriented and proactive professional with expertise in product management or marketing within the chemicals sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate a product vision that resonates with prevailing market dynamics, competitive offerings, and the overarching corporate strategy. Ensure the product team is aligned in developing solutions that deliver value to both clients and the organization.
  • Manage and optimize product performance throughout its lifecycle. Collaborate with Commercial and Operations teams to ensure thorough oversight of revenue, margins, and costs to maximize profitability. Establish performance metrics, set objectives, and implement strategies for enhancement.
  • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of market trends, competitor offerings, and other pertinent data that align with the company's marketing objectives.
  • Craft commercial strategies for current products, working closely with sales teams to establish market pricing, define pricing and contracting approaches, and integrate these strategies into the product development framework.
  • Evaluate and interpret product order patterns and customer preferences, collaborating with product planners to ensure customer satisfaction at optimized costs.
  • Lead regular sales discussions and quarterly review meetings.
  • Engage in industry trade shows and exhibitions.
  • Perform any additional tasks as assigned or voluntarily undertaken.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems or similar platforms is advantageous
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Adept at identifying supply and demand trends, employing strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities
  • Excellent business communication skills across all organizational levels, including facilitation, issue resolution, and diligent follow-up
