The Role at McKinstry

We are looking for a Manager of HR Technology to enhance our expanding Human Resource division. In this position, you will lead the strategy, validate, and sustain the technological solutions within the HR framework. You will ensure that initiatives uphold data integrity, security, and operational excellence as dictated by the organization. Your responsibilities will also encompass managing the operational facets of People Technology systems (HRIS, LMS, ATS) and ensuring alignment with McKinstry's People Strategy. Key responsibilities include:

Finalizing and annually updating the HR/People technology roadmap, ensuring it is well-maintained and governed in collaboration with the People team leadership. Serving as a systems expert during the evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of People/HR technology solutions. Cultivating strong partnerships with IT, including Workday system administrators and other technology partners. Leading and mentoring the HRIS Workday team to ensure accuracy and timely completion of tasks. Promoting cross-functional collaboration with HR leadership, business leaders, and IT professionals to align the Workday platform with McKinstry's People Strategy. Prioritizing technology solution implementations to support the overarching HR roadmap. Continuously enhancing Workday and other HR systems, ensuring compliance with data integrity, security, and operational excellence. Collaborating closely with leaders of other People Technology systems (HRIS, LMS, ATS) to ensure alignment with McKinstry's People strategy and values. Acting as the primary spokesperson for all matters related to HR/People systems. Leading initiatives to stay abreast of technology that operationalizes our people functions, including integrating Artificial Intelligence capabilities into HR systems and processes as appropriate. Overseeing the development of a user-friendly knowledge base for McKinstry staff to address common HR inquiries. Leading various HR system-related projects as assigned. Establishing strong relationships and credibility with key leadership across the organization.

Qualifications for Success at McKinstry

5+ years of experience in Workday systems configuration is required; Workday Pro Certification is highly preferred. 7+ years of experience in Human Resources is highly preferred. Proven proficiency in all responsibilities of a senior-level Systems Administrator is required. 2-3+ years of experience in a leadership role is required. A Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio is required; familiarity with SharePoint is preferred. Exceptional attention to detail is required. General knowledge of IT processes is required. Demonstrated success in managing and delivering projects is required.

The compensation range for this position is $110,300 - $190,700 per year; however, the offered base pay may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional compensation may be provided as part of the overall package, along with a comprehensive range of medical, financial, and other benefits, depending on the position.
