As a key member of our IT Leadership team, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and support of information technology for core oncology and oncology research applications, clinical ancillary and supportive care applications and modules across our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategic Direction
    • Provide strategic direction and oversight for the development, implementation, and support of clinical applications and technologies.
    • Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to ensure alignment with organizational priorities and initiatives.
  • Application Management
    • Oversee the integrated governance, strategic direction, operating plans, financial management, talent management, application lifecycle and portfolio management, regulatory compliance and oversight, and customer service and relationship management for the aligned applications.
    • Manage the analysis of user needs, identification of application integration requirements, implementation of new applications, upgrades of existing applications, support of application performance and functionality, documentation of procedures, and training of the end-user community.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with CMS interoperability and ONC regulatory requirements.
    • Implement workflow and technology enhancements to ensure regulatory compliance.
    • Participate in audit and compliance activities and events.
  • Team Leadership and Development
    • Lead and/or participate in Technology Governance committees spanning across organizations and strategic partnerships.
    • Collaborate with the IT Leadership team and HR/Recruiting to recruit, manage, develop, and retain talented employees.
Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in healthcare information technology, with at least 7 years of direct management experience.
  • Advanced understanding of clinical operations (e.g., ambulatory, inpatient, pharmacy, laboratory, and radiology services).
  • Demonstrated experience in best practices and leading complex and advanced application solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and concisely to a variety of audiences.

Preferred

  • Epic Certification. PMP Certification.
  • Program development.
  • Oncology leadership experience.
