Job Title: Payroll Administrator

Location: Community Renewal Team

Estimated Salary: $55,000 to $65,000 per year

About the Role

As a Payroll Administrator at Community Renewal Team, you will play a critical role in supporting the agency's financial operations. This includes generating and processing bi-weekly payroll, HRIS reports, and maintaining the integrity of the HRIS system.

You will work closely with Program Managers to ensure timecards are completed correctly and timely, and verify all timecards have appropriate clock-in and clock-out records. Additionally, you will calculate and post manual payroll checks, including voids and direct deposit reversals, and verify calculations of mileage reimbursement requests via Excel and HRIS entry/import.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll bi-weekly, including generating necessary reports and maintaining the integrity of the HRIS system.
  • Work with Program Managers to ensure timecards are completed correctly and timely.
  • Verify all timecards have appropriate clock-in and clock-out records.
  • Calculate and post manual payroll checks, including voids and direct deposit reversals.
  • Verify calculations of mileage reimbursement requests via Excel and HRIS entry/import.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
  • Over seven years of experience in payroll related roles, preferably with automated payroll processing services.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and MS Word, as well as knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices and principles.
