We are currently seeking a highly-skilled and dedicated Senior Accountant to join our client, a non-profit organization. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, experience in non-profit accounting, and a deep understanding of financial law and compliance standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all aspects of day-to-day accounting processes including but not limited to: overseeing A/P, A/R, payroll, handling journal entries and bank reconciliations in accordance with GAAP standards.
  2. Prepare and present clear and accurate financial statements, reports and projections as requested.
  3. Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations at all times.
  4. Develop and implement improvements to procedures to improve operational efficiency.
  5. Coordinate the budget planning and preparation.
  6. Monitor and report on the organization's financial status on a regular basis.


  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field preferred
  2. In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  3. Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in using Microsoft Office and accounting software.
  4. Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
