Infrastructure Project Coordinator

AIMM is seeking a dedicated full-time Infrastructure Project Coordinator to join our team. This role is pivotal in overseeing the daily operations of various projects within our Texas Region, ensuring that our contractual obligations are fulfilled efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Establish frameworks and administrative systems to meet project requirements related to quality, safety, contractor agreements, procurement, cost management, scheduling, and estimating.
- Address issues affecting contract compliance promptly and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead and coordinate project teams to foster collaboration and ensure optimal performance in asset operations and maintenance.
- Promote company values within the team, focusing on professional development in safety, quality, customer service, and business acumen.
- Adhere to Risk Management, Quality Assurance, and Safety protocols, complying with all relevant regulations.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Oversee financial management, including budgeting and cost control, to maximize project profitability.
- Facilitate the development and negotiation of subcontractor agreements to secure favorable terms.
- Encourage a culture of safety through personal example and adherence to safety policies.
- Develop a strong partnership with clients, ensuring their needs are met and concerns are addressed effectively.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and foster a diverse and inclusive workplace.
- Monitor project rehabilitation activities to achieve established goals.
- This role requires travel within Texas, with fieldwork comprising approximately 60% of the time.
- Provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required, with specific guidelines for safety footwear.
- Maintain a flexible work schedule, including on-call availability for emergencies.
- Record work hours accurately and manage team productivity through our payroll system.
- Participate in all necessary meetings and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred. A minimum of five years of relevant industry experience, particularly in Transportation/Road asset management, is highly desirable. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
Skills and Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of transportation infrastructure maintenance and management.
- Proficient in project management principles and adaptable to changing environments.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Ability to recognize and mitigate safety hazards in various work settings.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
Work Environment:
