Position Overview:
The Senior Technical Program Manager for Augmented Reality Software Solutions will play a pivotal role in one of the most innovative product lines in the technology sector, focusing on the successful delivery of AR software products. In this capacity, you will oversee the software development of new software experiences, product functionalities, and platform capabilities for upcoming generations of AR devices. This position demands a highly collaborative leader with robust technical, program management, and leadership expertise. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage intricate cross-functional program execution within a large matrix organization, collaborating with product management, user experience, software engineering, hardware, firmware, quality assurance, and data science, from initial development stages to customer launch.
  • Formulate and maintain comprehensive program plans, coordinating across various organizations and domains to guarantee timely delivery.
  • Lead launch and release activities concerning end-to-end software features and deliverables.
  • Drive and shape technical strategies, proactively identify potential risks, devise mitigation plans, align priorities, and establish direction for a broadly cross-functional domain.
  • Establish best practices and key performance indicators to ensure project success. Design, develop, and scale solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Maintain ongoing communication regarding planning, program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders. Simplify complex topics into clear communications for program stakeholders and executive management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience as a technical program manager, engineering manager, or product manager, leading software development initiatives.
  • Proven track record of delivering technical programs or products from conception to launch.
  • Familiarity with software and hardware product development methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering cutting-edge software technologies.
  • Experience in defining and enhancing software engineering processes at scale.
  • Proven leadership experience, decision-making capabilities, and proficiency in presenting to large audiences.
  • Experience in developing or engaging directly with various aspects of large-scale distributed systems, including client-server interactions, scalability, reliability, and efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in software development for consumer electronics.
  • Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with augmented reality technologies.
