Rylem Staffing is seeking a skilled Technical Product Manager to oversee the testing, characterization, metrology, and data infrastructure for augmented reality (AR) products. In this role, you will play a crucial part in planning, coordinating, and executing testing solutions across various AR product lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish release strategies and develop comprehensive release roadmaps for the projects under your management.
- Organize, coordinate, and implement hardware builds and testing program releases for our offerings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create release plans, timelines, processes, and documentation.
- Investigate technical systems to identify risks and issues, taking appropriate actions to mitigate them while remaining engaged with the details to facilitate informed release decisions.
- Maintain and communicate updates on program release progress to all relevant stakeholders.
- Foster effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment among cross-functional teams, including quality assurance and product management, each with distinct priorities.
- Exhibit a proactive approach to manage multiple build priorities concurrently.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for testing coordination and ensure overall quality for your programs.
- Promote technical excellence within the team by coordinating and contributing to engineering deliverables such as architectural diagrams, specifications, launch criteria, and testing plans.
- Continuously enhance the release management process and tools to boost efficiency and quality.
- Deliver results while navigating an ambiguous work environment.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices related to release management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Prior experience with Meta may be considered to supplement the required years of experience or types of experience for this position.
- At least 2 years of experience as a technical program manager.
- A minimum of 3 years in test engineering, systems engineering, or software engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience leading complex projects across multiple teams in different time zones, with the ability to anticipate challenges and devise solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with release management tools and systems is essential.
- Demonstrated project management skills, with experience managing cross-functional programs in a matrix organization across various domains.
- Experience thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Ability to operate independently across multiple teams, showcasing critical thinking and thought leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly with large-scale systems.
