Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the Navy's ATO accreditation process as a subject matter expert by analyzing security assessments, organizational protocols, and conducting ongoing monitoring.
- Provide strategic security planning, evaluation, risk analysis, and risk management.
- Advise on cybersecurity measures that ensure confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation.
- Support the Government in establishing and enforcing trusted relationships among external systems and architectures.
- Contribute to policy and documentation development in alignment with the Navy's Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Engage in the change management process, including reviewing Change Requests and assessing the security implications of proposed modifications.
- Conduct continuous monitoring of authorized systems.
- Analyze test outcomes and validate security controls.
Minimum Qualifications:
0 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; or a High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years of relevant experience.
- 0-2 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Engineering, or a related field, or a High School diploma with 4 years of relevant experience.
- DoD / DoD IAT II Level certification (SEC+).
- Experience with the Navy RMF process.
- Familiarity with various tools (ACAS, eMass, STIG Viewer, eMasster, Microsoft Excel).
- Knowledge of Navy RMF and NIST SP800-53.
An active Secret Clearance with SSBI is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Zero Trust Implementation.
