Core Responsibilities:

  • Architect, construct, and sustain AWS infrastructure adhering to industry-leading practices.
  • Establish CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment workflows.
  • Oversee and fine-tune AWS resources to maximize cost efficiency and performance.
  • Define and execute DevOps best practices, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automated testing.
  • Design and implement scalable, dependable, and high-availability infrastructure architectures for applications and services.
  • Diagnose and resolve infrastructure challenges in both production and staging environments.
  • Collaborate with development teams to boost application performance and reliability.
  • Apply security best practices and ensure adherence to industry regulations.
  • Guide and mentor junior DevOps engineers with technical insights.
  • Develop and maintain thorough documentation for architecture designs, processes, and best practices.
  • Stay updated with AWS services and propose new technologies to enhance infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience in AWS DevOps roles.
  • Extensive knowledge of AWS Cloud services and management.
  • Ability to design and manage AWS cloud environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Solid knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
