Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in designing the optimal layout of machinery and the most effective sequence of operations and workflows.
  • Conduct analyses related to cost management, productivity enhancement, cost reduction, inventory oversight, and production record systems.
  • Provide quantifiable insights into operational sequences and procedures, documenting manufacturing standards and workflows.
  • Assist in planning the allocation of resources, materials, and personnel to maximize equipment utilization.
  • Establish the physical configuration of machinery and the most efficient operational sequences.
  • Document manufacturing standard work and routings, ensuring clarity and consistency.
  • Analyze data related to OEE, OLE, MSW, Staffing/Capacity Planning, and other key performance metrics.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven track record in program management, engineering, and effective communication.
  • Experience in project management and leading change initiatives.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in Industrial Engineering.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of Root Cause Analysis.
  • Experience in continuous improvement practices within a manufacturing context and proficiency in data management software.
  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Operating Procedures, and Set-Up Reduction/Mistake-Proofing is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is between 77,000 USD and 163,000 USD, reflecting a comprehensive assessment of experience levels. Raytheon Technologies considers various factors when extending offers, including role responsibilities, individual experience, and skill sets.

Successful candidates may be eligible for a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, 401(k) matching, flexible spending accounts, and paid time off. Specific benefits may vary based on the business unit and whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
