Manufacturing Process Engineer

Position Overview:
As a key contributor at Raytheon Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in revolutionizing the aviation industry by designing, developing, and maintaining advanced engine systems. Your expertise will be essential in fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
As a subject matter expert, you will:
- Establish optimal layouts for machinery and define the most efficient operational sequences and workflows.
- Conduct comprehensive analyses related to cost management, productivity enhancement, cost reduction, inventory oversight, and production record systems.
- Provide actionable insights into operational sequences and procedures, ensuring the documentation of manufacturing standards and workflows.
- Contribute to resource allocation planning, ensuring maximum equipment utilization.
- Manage critical metrics related to Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Overall Labor Effectiveness (OLE), and other key performance indicators.
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) along with a minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience.
- Proven track record in program management, engineering, and effective communication.
- Experience in project management and change management initiatives.
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory due to the nature of the work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Industrial Engineering.
- Experience in manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong understanding of Root Cause Analysis and continuous improvement practices within a manufacturing context.
- Proficiency in data management and acquisition software, as well as knowledge of Statistical Process Control and Value Stream Mapping.
