About the Role

As a Unified Communications Sales Specialist, you will be our clients' primary point of contact for cloud voice and unified communications (UCaaS) within Aztec Office's technology solutions ecosystem.

You will partner with clients and Aztec account executives to generate leads, understand client needs, propose solutions, and support technology deployments specific to one of our solution categories.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Prospect for UCaaS opportunities with existing Aztec clients and vetted leads to sell cloud voice and unified communications solutions.
  • Cross-sell communications solutions into current equipment and service clients.
  • Introduce new client prospects into the Aztec technology solutions ecosystem through communications, and educate clients about our full suite of capabilities.
  • Support account executives in proposing and closing communications leads that they uncover.
  • Foster deep, long-term client relationships through consistent outreach and proactive needs identification and support.
  • Collect lead information for other Aztec teams, and open opportunities in our CRM.
  • Maintain profile information and sales notes in our CRM.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years experience as a sales specialist, sales engineer, or solutions architect for business voice or communications systems in a client-facing sales role.
  • Experience and willingness to work the entire sales process alone and in partnership with other Aztec sales professionals: lead generation, account profiling and needs assessment, product demos and value articulation, configuring and quoting, and deal negotiation.
  • Bachelor's degree from a top-tier college or university required or equivalent experience thriving in a B2B sales environment.
  • Ability to work onsite at our Middletown, CT, corporate headquarters.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to drive to client sites as needed.
  • Reliable access to a vehicle you are willing to drive for work purposes, eligible for mileage reimbursement.
