Job Summary

As a key member of the Paychex team, the Area Director will provide strategic direction and support to District Sales Managers and sales staff in a zone to drive corporate sales growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve corporate objectives and increase client base.
  • Manage and direct District Sales operations to ensure adherence to corporate sales plans and programs.
  • Recruit, select, and hire District Sales Managers, and evaluate their performance.
  • Establish and maintain communication links to ensure positive working relationships and productivity.
  • Develop and implement sales and client incentive programs to improve client base.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business Administration.
  • 5+ years of experience in second-level sales management, with a focus on Business-to-Business Sales.
  • PEO and/or HCM Sales Experience highly preferred.
Compensation

The starting base pay range for this position is $170,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually, with total compensation determined by factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and experience.
