Role Summary
As a vital member of the financial operations team, the Revenue Cycle Management Specialist will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. This role demands a high level of professionalism and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to maintain efficient workflows.
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily assessments of incoming deliveries from lockbox(es).
- Manage and process returned correspondence.
- Handle manual payment processing utilizing approved RCM tools.
- Perform daily batch reconciliations.
- Execute regular reconciliations between the billing system, banking institutions, and additional payment platforms as directed by management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure prompt posting and reconciliation of payments.
- Adopt a root-cause analysis approach to problem-solving.
- Engage with third-party entities involved in RCM functions associated with the Platinum consolidated platform.
- Maintain an organized inventory of tasks, ensuring no backlog and promptly communicating any obstacles to leadership.
- Adhere to established processes and procedures for all assigned accounts to guarantee timely payment posting and resolution of accounts.
- Generate reports and participate in special projects as required.
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Experience: A minimum of 3-4 years in a healthcare setting, such as a doctor's office or hospital. Experience in dermatology is preferred but not mandatory.

- Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate advanced computer proficiency.
- Possess expertise in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
- Have familiarity with medical terminology related to dermatology.
- Maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions.
- Show compassion and patience when engaging with patients and colleagues.
- Effectively prioritize tasks and understand management's directives, seeking guidance when necessary.
- Meet or exceed 95% of established productivity and quality benchmarks.
- Adhere to timekeeping and attendance policies consistently.
- Uphold confidentiality standards in accordance with HIPAA and Compliance Policy Guidelines.
- Complete assigned projects with thorough documentation of trends and issues.
Physical Requirements: The role requires manual dexterity for operating office equipment, as well as the ability to stoop and bend to manage files and supplies. The work environment may involve handling sharps and chemicals, and the ability to manage multiple demands and deadlines is essential.
