Position Overview

Join Resource Center, a prominent nonprofit organization, as a Financial Revenue Specialist. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial health of the agency through comprehensive financial and statistical evaluations of our varied medical services, particularly focusing on the 340B Program.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust analytical mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and a strong commitment to excellence within a collaborative Accounting & Finance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Integration and Analysis: Seamlessly integrate revenue and related data into accounting systems to facilitate thorough reporting and analysis, ensuring precise financial and programmatic insights.
  • 340B Revenue Oversight: Scrutinize intricate financial and non-financial data related to the 340B revenue stream from external pharmacies and suppliers, identifying trends, discrepancies, and areas for enhancement.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Maintain awareness of current and upcoming changes in the 340B Program, applying this knowledge to aid in the formulation of best-practice policies and procedures.
  • Contractual Support: Utilize data analysis to pinpoint non-contracted pharmacies. Collaborate with management and program staff to establish necessary contract links to optimize 340B revenue recognition.
  • Collaborative Engagement: Work in close partnership with the entire Accounting & Finance team to foster improvements in this rapidly evolving department. Initiate communication with cross-functional teams to gather and disseminate financial activity related to 340B and other revenue-generating initiatives.
  • KPI Development: Formulate key performance indicators for 340B revenue and assist team members in developing KPIs across all revenue-generating programs. Leverage KPIs in departmental meetings to evaluate financial performance and support ongoing financial enhancement plans.
  • Revenue Forecasting: Create and implement dependable revenue forecasting models to aid in financial planning. Utilize agency revenue data to enhance the accuracy of budget projections and support the viability of revenue forecasts.
  • Effective Communication: Clearly convey complex financial data and concepts to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. Collaborate with fundraising and marketing teams to develop meaningful metrics for program outcomes. Generate reports and dashboards to assist key decision-makers.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in business or general data analytics is essential. Familiarity with 340B programs, healthcare services, third-party insurance billing, or nonprofit accounting is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience with, or the ability to receive extensive training in, 340B-related accounting and support.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills utilizing both financial and non-financial data.
  • Demonstrated commitment to accuracy.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of data analysis methodologies.
  • A willingness to be an integral part of a team focused on leveraging emerging technologies.
  • A desire to contribute to a diverse workforce dedicated to providing excellent service to the LGBTQIA+ community and individuals living with HIV.
