Position Overview

Integrative Emergency Services, LLC ("IES") is on the lookout for a Manager of Revenue Cycle Operations. This role is pivotal in overseeing the comprehensive client revenue cycle accounts receivable processes, ensuring the integrity of data and spearheading project management initiatives. The successful candidate will enhance the effectiveness of receivables collection, aiming to optimize collections and deliver precise reporting of billing and cash collection activities by our revenue cycle partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate discussions with revenue cycle management partners, ensuring accountability for timely delivery of outputs and analyses to essential stakeholders.
  • Oversee daily revenue cycle operations and manage team members effectively.
  • Direct projects aimed at improving revenue cycle processes, implementation, and transitions.
  • Establish and enforce policies and procedures for managing processes related to specific payers.
  • Create and maintain standard performance analytics, dashboards, and alerts to proactively identify client performance issues.
  • Ensure consistent communication and updates regarding client performance to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to business growth strategies, including operationalizing the complete revenue cycle function for increased volumes and process standardization.
  • Supervise internal and/or vendor efforts related to compliance with the No Surprise Act (NSA) and the Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) process for all clients.

Supervisory Duties

This role includes supervisory responsibilities in line with company policies and applicable laws, such as interviewing, hiring, and training staff; assigning and directing work; evaluating performance; and addressing employee concerns.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage competing demands.
  • Capacity to build and maintain positive relationships with management, business units, vendors, and clients.
  • Discretion in handling sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Education and Experience:

Required:

  • 1-2 years of leadership or operations management experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in revenue cycle management, patient financial services, billing, or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of medical terminology and the revenue cycle sector.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Understanding of data mining, statistical predictive modeling, and financial modeling practices.
  • Familiarity with SQL and Tableau.
  • Previous experience in managing revenue cycle vendors.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel.

Travel Requirements:

Occasional travel may be necessary, including overnight stays.
