Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Personal Touch Food Service, Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen workflow and ensuring that meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our clients, while ensuring that all dishes are prepared in accordance with our company's quality standards.
  • Staff Supervision: Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of food and supplies, ensuring that all inventory is accurately tracked and managed to minimize waste and optimize costs.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all food products meet our company's standards, and take corrective action as necessary to maintain the highest levels of quality.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry, with a strong background in menu planning, kitchen management, and staff supervision.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent culinary skills, with the ability to work at a moderate to fast pace, and possess basic math skills to calculate production and recipes as required for guest counts.
  • Physical Demands: The ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent carrying with both hands up to 50 pounds.
