Role Overview

As an Enterprise Account Executive for the Emerging Markets vertical, you will play a pivotal role in acquiring new customers and creating loyal advocates. As a champion of the entire sales process from start to finish, you will utilize your creative prospecting skills to strategically pursue net new business. You will navigate complex deals, leveraging your insatiable curiosity to drive thought leadership and your drive to succeed to maintain a top position on the leaderboard. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage prospects from lead to close
  • Land new business within greenfield territory
  • Clearly articulate and demonstrate our Gong value proposition, creating excitement and enthusiasm among prospects
  • Regularly iterate messaging to scale our outbound prospecting engine
  • Engage and educate senior executives on the importance of the emerging Revenue Intelligence industry and validate Gong as the leader in this new market
  • Partner with the SDR, Sales, and Sales Engineering teams to develop account-based sales strategies to uncover value for all go-to-market department leaders
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of relevant sales experience, preferably with a sales tech solution, and specifically having sold to Financial Services, Healthcare, or Consulting organizations as a dedicated vertical focus
  • Track record of overachieving revenue targets of 1M+ and successfully navigating and closing six-figure deals
  • Previous SaaS and enterprise software experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with preferred but not required

The annual OTE for this position is $270,000 - $330,000 USD. Compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including job-related skills, qualification, education, experience, and location. At Gong, we have a location-based compensation structure, which means there may be a different range for candidates in other locations. The total compensation package for this position, in addition to base compensation, may include incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits. Some of our sales compensation programs also offer the potential to achieve above-targeted earnings for those who exceed their sales targets.
