Role Responsibilities

This position focuses on expanding FIDF's presence in the Southeastern States, particularly Georgia, with an emphasis on achieving the chapter's multimillion-dollar annual goals while educating and engaging community members about FIDF's mission.

Building strong relationships with individuals and groups is essential, requiring an outgoing and persuasive communication style.

The role prioritizes results, relationship development, and effective utilization of organizational systems to cultivate and manage contributions from individuals and foundations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee a personal fundraising portfolio of approximately 150 donors.
  • Conduct research to identify potential donors within the $1,000-$25,000 giving range, analyzing their interests, giving history, and philanthropic capacity.
  • Collaborate with the Vice President and Chapter Associate Director to identify key community leaders.
  • Develop personalized engagement and stewardship strategies for both prospective and existing donors, assisting in organizing cultivation events and informational sessions.
  • Draft tailored solicitation letters, emails, and proposals while maintaining regular communication with donors through updates and impact reports.
  • Ensure accurate and current donor records in the organization's CRM system. Track donor interactions and communication history.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting to the Vice President and Chapter Associate Director.
  • Create and manage peer-to-peer fundraising initiatives.
  • Support the Vice President and Chapter Associate Director in public presentations to engage various groups of participants, volunteers, and donors.

Performance Metrics

  • Identify and secure new donors contributing over $1,000.
  • Plan and execute small events to enhance awareness and engagement with FIDF.
  • Expand the current donor portfolio by 20% annually.
  • Effectively implement moves management for strategic donor engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, fundraising, or a comparable role.
  • Demonstrated innovative and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely from other team members.
  • Strong relationship-building skills focused on achieving results.
  • A sense of urgency in goal achievement and managing diverse activities.
  • Accountability for results.
  • Confident and persuasive communicator, inspiring others to take action.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the region.
  • Remote work location may be considered based on qualifications.
  • Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
  • Regular travel around the region to build relationships and achieve goals.

The Regional Development Associate should possess a genuine interest in supporting the mission of FIDF, which focuses on aiding soldiers, families, and veterans of the Israel Defense Forces.
