Contract Type: 3 Months with potential for extension

Location: Cambridge, MA

Work Schedule:

9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, on-site (excluding holidays)

Key Skills Required: We are seeking candidates with (1) exceptional customer service skills, (2) proficiency in computer systems, and (3) experience in administrative tasks.

The Examination Center Supervisor will collaborate closely with the Registrar's Office and the Disability Access Office to manage and execute exam accommodations for eligible students. This role supports the daily functions of the examination center, which includes reception duties, communication, space allocation, exam scheduling, preparation of exam packets, and supply management.

Main Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist visitors, ensuring they are directed appropriately.

- Oversee the scheduling and administration of exams conducted through the Examination Center, which includes collecting and organizing exam materials and instructions from faculty, coordinating with students and proctors, managing equipment maintenance with the Assistive Technology Center, reserving testing spaces, and facilitating communication regarding testing services to both students and faculty.

- Maintain a thorough understanding of testing policies and procedures for each examination offered.

- Communicate effectively with students and faculty to address any scheduling conflicts.

- Provide support for the examination management system utilized by faculty and students.

- Allocate exam spaces for students and manage resource distribution.

- Execute administrative tasks such as answering phone inquiries, sorting mail, organizing exam folders, and other related activities.

- Organize completed exams and coordinate the collection of exams with faculty members.

- Proctor exams directly when necessary.

- Manage inventory of office supplies.

Additional Duties:

- Monitor examination rooms during the administration of tests.

- Address questions and concerns regarding accommodations during exams.

- Collect, verify, and tally completed exams.

- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Minimum of one year of experience in an academic setting.

- At least one year of administrative experience.

- One year of experience in customer service.
