Position Overview

Role Summary


Engage in the daily operations of the warehouse and yard, ensuring the safety and efficiency of all processes. Accurately maintain records of material quantities and classifications.

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct daily inventory assessments by reconciling physical counts with system records, investigating any discrepancies. (Cycle Counts)

· Support the unloading of delivery trucks and verify the accuracy of incoming inventory shipments.

· Prepare outbound Purchase Orders, ensuring all necessary shipping documentation is included.

· Retrieve required components for the assembly or repair of finished products as specified in Work Orders.

· Replenish inventory items as needed.

· Report inventory shortages and identify defective or unusable items.

· Assist various departments with their inventory needs and relocate items within the system to their proper locations.

· Ensure inventory accuracy across the warehouse by monitoring product movements in accordance with established internal control procedures.

· Generate reports related to inventory management.

· Communicate with the Purchasing and Operational Departments regarding Purchase Orders, addressing any discrepancies between received items and Packing Lists.

· Operate warehouse machinery, including pallet jacks and forklifts, as part of daily responsibilities; must be able to obtain forklift certification.

· Adhere to safety and security protocols, ensuring proper use of equipment and materials. Actively promote safety practices and report any safety concerns through the appropriate channels.

Qualifications and Skills

· Proficient in basic computer skills, with familiarity in MS Office and/or inventory management systems.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with analytical abilities.

· Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment requiring flexibility, time management, and precision.

· Highly motivated individual capable of working efficiently and safely.

· High School diploma or equivalent is required.

· Preferred: 1+ years of experience in inventory management within a warehouse setting.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

· Regularly required to navigate the facility, which may involve exposure to various outdoor conditions and physical labor.

· Must be available for a rotating on-call schedule and able to work weekends.

· Use of appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye protection, hard hats, and safety footwear in designated areas of the warehouse.

· This position is considered safety-sensitive.
