Position SummaryThe Control Systems Automation Specialist will leverage expertise in control systems and industrial control panels to collaborate within a team environment, guiding projects from inception to completion. This role involves engaging in engineering release meetings and liaising with clients to ascertain their requirements, enabling the design, construction, programming, commissioning, and delivery of the finalized automation systems.
Key Responsibilities- Expertise in Rockwell Automation software (RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View SE, and RSLinx).
- Experience in specifying components and designing industrial control panels.
- Familiarity with compliance standards and regulatory agency requirements (UL508A, NEC, etc.).
- Proficiency in Mitsubishi PLC and HMI programming is advantageous.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical is a plus.
- Experience with industrial refrigeration systems is beneficial.
- Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
- Ability to develop programming that aligns with customer specifications, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Electrical design and hardware specification for industrial control panels.
- Design and program advanced control systems.
- Simulate, test, and troubleshoot control systems internally.
- Install and initiate systems at the client's facility.
- Provide ongoing technical support for systems, both remotely and on-site.
- Relevant Engineering Degree or a minimum of five years of project engineering and/or project management experience in control system integration.
- Rockwell Automation software: 5 years (Preferred)
- Project management in control system integration: 5 years (Preferred)
- Compliance with regulatory and approval agency standards: 5 years (Preferred)
- AutoCAD Electrical: 3 years (Preferred)
- Mitsubishi PLC and HMI programming: 3 years (Preferred)
