SUMMARY

The BMS Field Technician is tasked with delivering technical expertise in the installation, troubleshooting, testing, and upkeep of Burner Management Systems. This role emphasizes effective communication with colleagues and clients while ensuring personal safety and maintaining a tidy work environment. Key responsibilities include:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Traveling to client sites to perform service work and routine maintenance.
  • Conducting inspections and troubleshooting equipment to enhance quality control.
  • Providing technical assistance to customers, manufacturers, and distributors regarding installations and training.
  • Delivering onsite training and support as required.
  • Managing inventory and ensuring truck stock is well-maintained.
  • Acquiring necessary parts and supplies through the established procurement process.
  • Maintaining accurate records of inventory, work orders, and timesheets.
  • Exhibiting a willingness to travel as needed.
  • Keeping the work area and equipment clean and organized.
  • Adapting proactively to meet high standards in the work environment.
  • Coordinating work activities to achieve job completion both independently and collaboratively.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferred experience in the oilfield and knowledge of Burner Management Systems.
  • Minimum of 2 years in the oil and gas industry.
  • Mechanical knowledge of at least 1 year is preferred.
  • Safe Land certification is a plus.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
