Position Title: Medical Administrative Coordinator
Employment Classification: 40 hours/week, non-exempt
Reports To: Executive Director
Position Objective: Oversee the administrative aspects of adaptive equipment grants. Facilitate communication with vendors and case managers. Manage the lending library and ensure follow-up after equipment utilization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the administrative components of adaptive equipment grants.
- Provide education or services to consumers and/or families as necessary.
- Coordinate with vendors and families for equipment installation.
- Maintain communication with vendors regarding adaptive equipment.
- Complete necessary documentation and billing processes.
- Stay in touch with case managers about consumer requirements and updates.
- Adhere to all personnel policies and procedures.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
- Familiarize yourself with and comply with facility and departmental policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience: A high school diploma is required. Previous experience in administrative roles is essential. MANDT crisis intervention, CPR certification, and first aid training are required (these trainings can be provided upon hire along with necessary agency training). Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook is necessary. Experience in brain injury rehabilitation or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
