POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Vice President, Technology Banking is responsible for cultivating and managing pivotal client relationships within a designated market or industry sector. This role involves not only attracting new clients but also addressing the needs of our existing clientele. The SVP will possess comprehensive knowledge of our product offerings and will collaborate with specialists as necessary to optimize client service. Additionally, this position includes mentoring team members and contributing to the achievement of financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute significantly to team and individual efforts in generating deposits, loan commitments, and non-interest income while effectively managing associated credit risks.
  • Utilize an established network within the venture capital and entrepreneurial community to independently identify and secure new loan clients.
  • Maintain primary relationships with key stakeholders in your designated ecosystem.
  • Identify and promote high-quality deals through the underwriting and credit approval processes.
  • Support the portfolio management team in enhancing existing client relationships and maximizing value.
  • Assist in expanding loans, deposits, and go-to-market products within current client accounts.
  • Oversee documentation, negotiate terms, and finalize credit requests with minimal guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with all corporate and regulatory requirements, including training and adherence to regulations.
  • Participate in the development and training of junior bankers and analysts within your sphere of influence.
  • Engage in the recruitment and selection process for new team members.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and provide coaching to staff.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology or life sciences banking and/or financial services.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Innovative and strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude, even in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to work autonomously while fostering collaboration across teams.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and client relationships effectively.
  • Demonstrated success in handling large client accounts.
  • Physical requirements include prolonged periods of sitting or standing and frequent use of office equipment.

SALARY RANGE: $189,000 - $252,634.72 USD; compensation may vary based on experience and qualifications.
