Your Impact

As a Director, External Reporting, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership to our external reporting team, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial statements and reports. You will work closely with our Vice President, Accounting & Reporting, to develop and implement financial reporting strategies that meet the needs of our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the quarterly and annual corporate US GAAP external reporting process
  • Produce external financial statements and MD&A
  • Administer external reporting systems and processes
  • Enhance the accuracy and timeliness of the company's external reporting function
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and external reporting regulations
What the Role Offers
  • Opportunity to lead the overall corporate SEC & OSC external reporting process in accordance with US GAAP
  • Manage and provide overall financial leadership to the external reporting team
  • Research and opine on technical SEC and US GAAP accounting & reporting matters
  • Act as a key point of contact and manage relationships with internal and external auditors
  • Responsible for complying with all SEC and OSC reporting requirements
  • Manage the administration and maintenance of the company's external reporting software
  • Build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams
Requirements
  • Experience with SEC external reporting in a large multinational organization, preferably in the technology sector
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in various Accounting and Finance roles at a senior level
  • US CPA or significant US SEC reporting experience required
  • Superior knowledge of SEC, OSC, and US GAAP accounting, reporting, and disclosure requirements
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills
Compensation

This role offers a minimum base salary of $161,000 USD, along with a comprehensive and competitive group benefits and healthcare plan. Compensation will be determined based on skills and experience in relation to the job requirements.
