Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies that support both short-term and long-term corporate objectives.
- Lead initiatives to expand our existing client relationships while exploring new market opportunities.
- Act as a strategic consultant to senior management, providing insights on market trends and business opportunities.
- Qualify and prioritize potential projects early in the sales process to ensure timely pursuit and achievement of sales goals.
- Continuously monitor target sectors to stay informed about emerging trends and opportunities within the industry.
- Deliver timely and precise reports on business prospects and client activities to keep executive leadership updated on market dynamics.
- Collaborate with various business units to maximize the visibility of Tutor Perini Corporation's capabilities.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key clients and decision-makers.
- Conduct post-project evaluations with stakeholders to gather insights and improve future practices.
- Represent the organization at industry events, leveraging technical expertise to strengthen stakeholder relationships.
- Oversee the marketing team in the preparation of qualifications, proposals, and presentations, ensuring a high-quality output.
- Utilize CRM tools to maintain records of sales interactions and project information for effective marketing and proposal development.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Business Development within the AEC sector, particularly in California and/or Nevada.
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
- Proven ability to adapt to industry trends and market fluctuations.
- Experience managing large-scale projects in the Commercial, Municipal, Mixed-use, or Hospitality & Gaming sectors valued over $500 million.
- Familiarity with project funding and implementation processes.
- Knowledge of permitting and project approval procedures at various governmental levels.
- Strong skills in client engagement and communication.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within California and Nevada.
