Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contracts Administrator to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our Payload Ground Systems Division, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of a contract portfolio from business development to closeout, ensuring customer satisfaction and building strong relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize proposal activities and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Identify contractual risks and mitigate with appropriate contract provisions
  • Serve as key business advisor to program managers on contractual and operational matters
  • Plan and execute successful contract negotiations of a complex nature and achieve targeted profit rates, favorable terms and conditions on both contracts and other agreements
  • Build customer intimacy and cultivate relationships early on
  • Make decisions in a timely manner under tight deadlines and pressure
  • Offer guidance and work collaboratively with various organizations for seamless contract administration

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years of contract administration or related experience – OR – Master's degree with 10+ years of experience in contract administration or related field
  • An additional 4 years of experience will be accepted in lieu of degree
  • Experience working large competitive DoD proposals
  • Experience negotiating and administering various contract types of varying sizes and types of agreements with the DoD
  • Thorough understanding of the requirements of applicable government regulations such as FAR or DFAR

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret, Top-Secret, etc.)
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree
  • Certification from the National Contracts Management Association (NCMA)

Salary Range: $136,300 - $204,500
