As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in the administration of our benefits programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

* Collaborate with the benefits team and HR department to manage day-to-day operations for the benefits function.
* Work with employees to answer benefit questions and troubleshoot benefits issues.
* Organize and schedule various events, including New Employee Benefits Orientations.
* Develop and distribute benefit educational materials.
* Support new hire and open enrollment processes.
* Conduct leave of absence administration, including ADA accommodations and interactive process.
* Maintain benefits data integrity within Workday by developing processes to audit, analyze, resolve, and mitigate current and future issues.
* Stay current on U.S. health care legislation and provide recommendations and action plans on potential changes necessary for compliance.
* Support manager to ensure all employee data is accurate and readily available for IRS/ACA reporting and preparation of forms 1094-C and 1095-C.
* Develop reports or work with appropriate parties to develop needed reports.
* Implement benefit process improvements within the Workday benefits module.

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
* 4 years of work experience in benefits administration.
* In-depth working knowledge of benefit management systems and related reporting and data analysis.
* Advanced skills in MS Excel.
* In-depth working knowledge of leave of absence administration and regulations.
* Experience with ADA accommodations and interactive process.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience with Workday benefits module.
* SPHR or other related certification/s.
* Fluency in oral and written Spanish; ability to translate as needed.

* Must be self-directed, resourceful with creative problem solving.
* Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws related to Benefits.
* Considerable working knowledge of computers, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases required.

* General knowledge of the HR department and its functions.
* Ability to analyze and assess situations and respond with the appropriate course of action.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to multi-task and effectively manage work flow.
