Position Overview:

ManTech is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Senior Systems Administrator / Analyst to enhance our operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and troubleshooting Windows servers and workstations, both on-site and remotely.
  • Providing Windows system administrative support, including user management, software installation, and system monitoring.
  • Overseeing domain controllers, file servers, application servers, and other cloud resources.
  • Effectively managing customer incidents through the ticketing system.
  • Following standard operating procedures to ensure accurate logging of all tickets.
  • Conducting remote troubleshooting using diagnostic techniques.
  • Escalating unresolved issues to higher support tiers.
  • Engaging with customers throughout the incident resolution process and ensuring proper closure.
  • Maintaining quality and productivity standards while adhering to customer timelines.
  • Assisting in the configuration of baseline switches, routers, and PCs for deployment.
  • Coordinating equipment preparation and shipping, confirming customer receipt, and validating inventories.
  • Conducting remote site surveys to identify hardware and cabling requirements.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a System Analyst/Administrator or in a similar capacity.
  • Appropriate DoD 8570 Level II certification.
  • Experience with network and patch management.
  • Knowledge of system security, data backup/recovery, and network monitoring.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel 25% domestically and internationally.
  • Excellent customer interaction skills with a focus on positive service support.
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an accredited institution.
  • DoD Intermediate Certification (Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, or GSEC) or equivalent military training.
  • ITIL 4 Foundations certification.
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA).

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Top Secret-SCI clearance adjudicated within the last 6 years.
  • Willingness to undergo a random polygraph examination.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to remain stationary for 50% of the time and occasionally move around the office to access files and equipment. The role may involve positioning oneself to maintain computers in the lab, including under desks and in server closets. Frequent communication with colleagues, management, and customers is required, which may involve delivering presentations and exchanging accurate information.

Compensation:

The projected compensation range for this position is $80,900-$134,800. Factors that may influence the final salary include contract wage determination, relevant experience, skills, geographic location, education, and certifications.
